Companies that have verified GitHub profiles

I noticed that companies with verified GitHub profiles are overwhelmingly technology builders at their core. These aren't just companies that use software, they create foundational developer tools, infrastructure platforms, databases, security solutions, and open-source projects. They build things like database systems (Redis, PlanetScale, Qdrant), developer platforms (Pulumi, Portainer, Vercel equivalents), blockchain protocols (Ocean Protocol, Polkadot), and security tools (ProjectDiscovery, Praetorian). Many position themselves as the infrastructure layer that other companies build upon.

These companies span the full maturity spectrum, though they skew toward growth stage. I see Series A through Series E funding rounds, with several post-IPO companies like Palantir and Palo Alto Networks mixed in. The employee counts reveal the range: some have under 10 employees while others exceed 10,000. However, even the mature enterprises maintain their developer-tool DNA and open-source roots. Many started as open-source projects that gained massive community adoption before commercializing.
