Companies that use Nooks

My analysis shows that Nooks is primarily purchased by revenue operations and sales development leadership. Directors of Revenue Operations and Business Development together represent 32% of the roles, while Heads and VPs of RevOps account for another 18%. These buyers are focused on scaling GTM motions, building pipeline generation engines, and modernizing tech stacks. They're hiring for roles that emphasize systems architecture, CRM optimization, and cross-functional alignment across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.

Day-to-day users are Business Development Representatives and Sales Development Representatives working high-volume outbound motions. I noticed Nooks appears in tech stacks alongside Salesforce, Apollo, Clay, Outreach, and ZoomInfo, suggesting it's used for power dialing and multichannel prospecting. The platform supports BDRs and SDRs who are researching accounts, running targeted campaigns, and booking qualified meetings for Account Executives. Several postings mention managing multiple concurrent cohorts and driving consistent activity metrics.

The pain points center on pipeline velocity and operational scalability. Companies want to reduce cost per opportunity, automate manual prospecting work, and build repeatable outbound playbooks. One posting seeks to "turn outbound into a repeatable expansion engine," while another aims to create "a scalable, data-driven prospecting engine." A third describes building "the pipeline engine that fuels our next phase of global expansion." These organizations are moving upmarket, scaling from reactive to proactive motions, and leveraging AI to make prospecting faster and more effective.

I analyzed these 69 companies and found that Nooks serves a specific type of B2B software company. These aren't just any tech companies. They build infrastructure-level platforms and operating systems for specific industries: Toast builds "the operating system" for restaurants, ServiceTitan is "building the operating system for the trades," Stord calls itself "the physical intelligence layer for independent commerce." They're selling complex, mission-critical software that requires significant customer education and multi-stakeholder sales cycles.

The funding and size data reveals these are predominantly growth-stage B2B companies. Most fall between 50 and 500 employees, with significant venture backing in Series A through Series C stages. They're past product-market fit but still scaling aggressively. They have real revenue and real customers (many mention Fortune 500 clients), but they're not yet mature enterprises. They're in that critical growth phase where sales efficiency matters enormously.

I noticed that Nooks users are clearly B2B sales organizations with sophisticated, high-velocity outbound motions. The presence of Gong, Chili Piper, and Ashby together tells me these companies are building professional sales teams that prioritize efficiency and data-driven improvement. They're not just making calls randomly. They're running structured, measurable sales operations where every interaction gets tracked, analyzed, and optimized.

The pairing of Nooks with Gong makes perfect sense because it shows a complete conversation workflow. Nooks helps reps connect with prospects through dialing automation, while Gong records and analyzes those conversations for coaching and insights. Adding Chili Piper to this mix reveals these companies care deeply about conversion rates. Once Nooks helps get someone on the phone, Chili Piper ensures the handoff to next steps happens seamlessly without the usual scheduling back-and-forth. The appearance of Vitally, a customer success platform, suggests many of these are SaaS companies selling to other businesses, where retention matters as much as acquisition.

My analysis shows these are clearly sales-led organizations, likely in growth stage rather than early startup phase. The presence of Ashby indicates they're hiring aggressively and building out teams with professional recruiting processes. Tools like Common Room and Impartner suggest some are running partner programs or community-led initiatives alongside their direct sales efforts. This isn't a scrappy five-person startup stack. This is what a Series A or B company builds when they've found product-market fit and are scaling their go-to-market engine.
