I noticed that companies using Canva for embedding designs are primarily mission-driven organizations serving communities directly. They're schools educating students, nonprofits fighting homelessness and hunger, government offices providing public services, and small agencies helping businesses with marketing. These aren't tech startups building software products. They're organizations that need to communicate their mission and impact visually, whether through newsletters, social media, presentations, or educational materials.

These are established, stable organizations rather than early-stage ventures. Most show employee counts in the 50 to 500 range, and many reference decades of operation (one school district since 1924, another nonprofit for over 82 years). Only a handful show any venture funding at all, and those are exceptions. The government agencies, school districts, and nonprofits operate on public funds or donations. They're mature organizations with predictable structures, not scaling startups experimenting with business models.
