These are definitively mature, established organizations. The employee counts range from around 20 to over 1,600, with many in the 50-500 range. None show venture funding or startup characteristics. They reference incorporation dates going back to the 1800s and early 1900s. They operate on annual budgets, have elected officials, and provide long-standing essential services. This is the opposite of a growth-stage startup landscape.

I noticed something striking about JustFOIA users: they're overwhelmingly government agencies and public sector organizations. The entire tech stack screams local government operations. Tools like Axon Evidence (used by police departments for body camera footage), Granicus GovQA (a government records management system), and Tyler Munis ERP (municipal financial software) appear thousands of times more frequently than in the general business population. This tells me JustFOIA has carved out a specific niche helping government agencies manage Freedom of Information Act requests and public records distribution.

Police departments receive massive numbers of FOIA requests for body camera footage and incident reports, so they need both evidence management and public records request tools working together.
