Many have been operating for decades, with founding dates in the 1970s, 1980s, or even earlier (one dates back to 1915, another to 1936). They describe themselves as "leading" or "premier" contractors in their regions, and several mention ENR rankings or industry awards. These aren't startups experimenting with business models. They're proven operators with deep market expertise.
