Companies that use Claude Code

I noticed that Claude Code's typical customers are predominantly technology builders and service providers. These companies aren't just using software, they're creating it. The majority are software development agencies, IT consultancies, digital agencies, and SaaS product companies. They build custom applications, develop web platforms, create mobile apps, and provide technical consulting. Many describe themselves as building "solutions" for other businesses rather than selling to end consumers directly.

These companies span a wide range of maturity levels, though I see three distinct clusters. There's a significant group of small agencies and consultancies with 11-50 employees and no disclosed funding. There's another cluster of venture-backed companies at Series A through C, typically with 50-200 employees. And there's a smaller set of larger enterprises with 500+ employees, including some post-IPO companies. The funding stages range from bootstrapped to billions in funding, but the common thread is that they're all actively building or shipping software products.
