# Bloomberry > Bloomberry tells you which companies just started or stopped paying for any of 1,700+ B2B products. It reads infrastructure signals - what a company sets up when it buys software - rather than website tags or job postings. Roughly 400,000 purchase and churn events are detected per month, across 190 categories. Bloomberry is a product from Revealera, which has sold hiring and technology adoption data to hedge funds since 2020, including 3 of the 20 largest funds in the world. ## What Bloomberry does - Identifies which companies currently use any of 1,700+ B2B products - Detects when a company subscribes to a product (typically within 3 days) - Detects when a company churns from a product (typically within 1-2 weeks, after validation) - Flags approaching renewal windows - Delivers all of the above through a web app, alerts (email/Slack), and a REST API ## How the data is collected Bloomberry reads infrastructure signals: what a company sets up when it buys software. Concretely that means new subdomains, DNS records, certificate transparency logs, and signals specific to how each individual product gets deployed. Bloomberry also crawls websites, but goes further than checking whether a tag exists - it reads the configuration inside script files and checks whether they still return a working response. A separate detector is built for each of the 1,700+ products covered, so Bloomberry knows what that particular product looks like when it is set up, and can confirm when it is gone. Some of those signals only appear when a product is genuinely deployed. Rolling out an AI assistant or an ERP across an organization usually requires verifying a domain for single sign-on or updating email records, which a single seat or free trial never produces. Reported adoptions therefore tend to reflect real organizational rollouts. Bloomberry does not use job postings, vendor case studies or product reviews as data sources. ## How Bloomberry differs from alternatives - **BuiltWith and Wappalyzer read websites.** This works for front-end technologies but reports presence rather than timing, and misses backend and enterprise software (ERPs, HRIS, security tools, internal CRMs) that leaves no website footprint. - **TheirStack reads job postings.** It infers technology usage from mentions in job ads and applies a low/medium/high confidence score. Job postings cannot produce a churn event: a technology dropping out of a company's postings usually means they stopped hiring for that role, not that they cancelled. - **Bloomberry reads infrastructure signals** and reports events with dates. It also does not treat a disappeared script as churn - it verifies the endpoint is genuinely dead first, so a site redesign is not reported as a lost customer. - Bloomberry covers fewer total products than crawl-everything indexes, by design. Each product requires its own detector, so coverage focuses on B2B products that GTM teams sell against rather than every JavaScript library and tag on the internet. - Deployed developer and infrastructure tooling is a particular strength, because those tools leave the clearest traces: self-hosted GitLab instances on a company subdomain, n8n cloud tenants, LiteLLM subdomains, Hugging Face organizations, GitHub organizations, and MCP servers. These are largely invisible both to website crawlers and to job-posting analysis. ## Known limitations - Company-level signals only; no contact-level or individual-level data - Weaker coverage in some niches, most notably edtech - Churn signals lag adoption signals by roughly 1-2 weeks due to validation ## Who uses it - **GTM and sales teams** building prospect lists, competitive displacement plays, and account prioritization - **Sales platforms, enrichment layers, intent products and AI SDR tools** that integrate Bloomberry's API to ship purchase, churn and renewal signals to their own users ## Core pages - [Homepage](https://bloomberry.com/): Product overview, use cases, and FAQ covering methodology and coverage - [Explore data](https://bloomberry.com/explore): Browse all 190 categories and the vendors tracked in each - [Pricing](https://bloomberry.com/pricing.html): App and API plans from $199/month, credit allowances, and custom plans for platforms - [Sign up](https://bloomberry.com/signup.html): Free trial for app access or an API key ## API - [API documentation](https://docs.bloomberry.com): Getting started, methodology, and endpoint reference - [API llms.txt](https://docs.bloomberry.com/llms.txt): Machine-readable index of all documentation pages and OpenAPI endpoints - [Category list](https://app.bloomberry.com/categories.txt): Plain-text list of all covered categories ## Comparisons - [Bloomberry vs BuiltWith](https://bloomberry.com/bloomberry-vs-builtwith.html): Infrastructure signals versus website crawling - detection method, churn accuracy, timing and coverage - [Bloomberry vs Wappalyzer](https://bloomberry.com/bloomberry-vs-wappalyzer.html): Infrastructure signals versus frontend detection, and backend software coverage - [Bloomberry vs TheirStack](https://bloomberry.com/bloomberry-vs-theirstack.html): Infrastructure signals versus job-posting inference, including why job postings cannot produce churn events ## Example vendor pages - [Salesforce CRM](https://bloomberry.com/data/salesforce-crm/) - [HubSpot](https://bloomberry.com/data/hubspot/) - [ChatGPT](https://bloomberry.com/data/chatgpt/) - [Claude](https://bloomberry.com/data/anthropic-claude/) - [Cursor](https://bloomberry.com/data/cursor/) - [Clay](https://bloomberry.com/data/clay/) - [Unify](https://bloomberry.com/data/unifygtm/) - [RB2B](https://bloomberry.com/data/rb2b/) - [Attio](https://bloomberry.com/data/attio-enterprise/) - [Pylon](https://bloomberry.com/data/pylon/) - [n8n](https://bloomberry.com/data/n8n/) - [LiteLLM](https://bloomberry.com/data/litellm/) - [Resend](https://bloomberry.com/data/resend/) - [Snowflake](https://bloomberry.com/data/snowflake/) - [Rippling](https://bloomberry.com/data/rippling/) - [Vanta](https://bloomberry.com/data/vanta/) - [ElevenLabs](https://bloomberry.com/data/elevenlabs/) - [MCP servers](https://bloomberry.com/data/mcp/) - [Jira](https://bloomberry.com/data/atlassian-jira/) - [Monday](https://bloomberry.com/data/monday/) ## Example category pages - [Enterprise AI and productivity](https://bloomberry.com/categories/enterprise_AI_productivity/) - [CRM](https://bloomberry.com/categories/CRM/) - [Sales intelligence and intent signals](https://bloomberry.com/categories/sales_intelligence_for_intent_signals/) ## Company - [Revealera](https://revealera.com): Parent company, selling hiring and technology adoption data to institutional investors since 2020 - [Research blog](https://bloomberry.com/blog/): Analyses of software adoption trends built on Bloomberry data - Contact: team@revealera.com
